We loved staying at the Inn for 2 nights in the Rosa suite. The Inn is, as many have noted, an astonishingly well curated experience. From the gorgeous antiques, furs, and period decor to the historical photos of people and places…it’s a journey back in time and a feast for those who appreciate the era. We so enjoyed the delectable charcuterie board and the drinks…which were nothing short of stellar. Thank you Eric! What a great surprise as we didn’t realize they had a Speakeasy on site. So fun! And the room…so adorable, comfy and relaxing. Nice bedding and mini bar. Great bath products. Tub/shower was a little small for my 6’+ hubby but he managed and great water pressure in shower was perfect after a long day at the New River Gorge! Welcome center is only 5 mins away! This is a real gem and we would definitely come back if in the area again.

Fayetteville is a treat; The Historic Morris Harvey Inn made our weekend visit to town that much sweeter. The instructions emailed beforehand made the contactless check-in and entry a breeze. We stayed in the Harvey Room, which had everything we needed for our overnight stay, including a half-bath and stocked minibar. The full bathroom (+shower) down the hall was spacious and clean. The decor of the room and the entire interior compliments the 120yr+ old home. The location of the Inn was perfect for walking around town (a total value-add of staying here!). We ended our night with a cocktail at Rosa’s, great conversation with Eric, and a bonus appearance of the bar cat, Ms. Creaky. The Inn checks every box for supercharging your Fayetteville getaway.

It is a extremely beautiful and historically accurate home with amazingly sweet owners. The bedding is truly the cleanest and softest bedding I have ever felt. If you are a history buff whose loves a good cocktail, this is the place to stay.

Fabulous stay at The Morris Harvey Inn! I stayed with my mother, and fun detail, we had stayed here together at least twenty years ago. Two (or three?) owners later the house is still so special - the decor is fantastic, like antique/luxury gothic, very cool. And happily the gardens outside were even more amazing than I remembered. The mini hedge maze is beautiful, very enjoyable to walk around the house and see all the plants. Location is perfect as you can walk to all the great shops and restaurants in Fayetteville.

This is our third time staying at the Inn and by far our most favorite time we had visiting Fayetteville. The wonderful owners have added Rosa’s since our last stay. I am not much of drinker but to experience Rosa’s should be on anyways need to do list when in town! Natalie was quick to share a yummy charcuterie board that I don’t even think I could replicate it was so pretty and well balanced with flavors. The room we stayed in was the first for us and our new favorite for my husband and I. The sheets are always comfy and the cleanliness of this Inn has stayed consistent throughout all our stays. The Inn is perfectly located within 5minutes from New River Gorge NP entrance; walking distance to local shops and eatery; very clean and has a homey vibe.

One of the most romantic, charming stays in West Virginia. If you find yourself in or around Fayetteville and in need of lodging, this is the best place to stay. We booked the Rosa Suite for our elopement weekend & it was absolutely perfect. The speakeasy will transport you in space & time, and the craft cocktails & charcuterie are as beautiful as they are delicious.

This was easily one of the best stay experiences I've ever had! Such a hidden & underrated gem in WV. The website and socials don't even do justice to the curated experience the owners have created from the decor to the bed comfort to the details in your stay such as eye masks and the coziest robes. The speakeasy, Rosa's, was no joke, the most beautiful one I've ever seen and the cocktails were perfection and everyone we encountered was so kind. We were also so lucky to come the week after they held pride - their representation made us immediately feel safe and comforted. Can't recommend this enough - WV is so lucky to have this spot now!

I stayed two nights at the Historic Morris Harvey House Inn. I thought it was lovely--decorated for the period when the house was built. Yet it had conveniences such as self check in, mini bar (stocked with wine, sodas, etc.), and wifi.
